Total Aprilia Domination at Mandalika
Marco Bezzecchi won the 2026 Indonesian MotoGP at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Lombok on Sunday (11/10/2026), headlining a historic day for the Noale-based manufacturer.
Aprilia swept the top four: Bezzecchi first, Raúl Fernández (Trackhouse MotoGP Team) second, Jorge Martín third, and Ai Ogura fourth — the first time in premier-class history that Aprilia has placed four bikes in the top four of a single race.
The result underlined the RS-GP26's competitiveness throughout the 2026 season. Bezzecchi, starting from second, rode consistently to the checkered flag.

Italy's 300th Win and Bezzecchi's 11th
The Mandalika victory carried double meaning for Bezzecchi: his 11th premier-class win and fifth of the 2026 season, following earlier triumphs in Buriram, Goiânia, Austin, and Mugello.
It also marked the 300th premier-class Grand Prix victory by an Italian rider — a historic milestone for Italian motorcycle racing.
"I feel very happy. The start of the year went very well until Mugello, then there were some difficult races and tough times," Bezzecchi said, quoted by Crash. He admitted returning to top form after injury was no easy task.
How the Race Unfolded: Fernández Caught on Lap 19
Pole-sitter Raúl Fernández held the lead through lap three and controlled most of the race. Bezzecchi shadowed the Trackhouse rider for 18 laps before striking on lap 19.
"I wanted to stay in front, but Raul was much stronger at the start and it was hard for me to keep up," Bezzecchi said. Once he found his rhythm, the Italian was untouchable to the finish.
Bezzecchi also recorded the fastest lap of the race at 1:29.960 to seal victory ahead of Fernández and Martín.
Márquez Ends His Mandalika DNF Curse
The race also ended Marc Márquez's Mandalika curse. The Ducati Lenovo rider finished a main race at the circuit for the first time after four consecutive DNFs.
The Baby Alien crossed the line sixth after a fierce mid-race battle with Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM) over fourth place.
Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo), Jack Miller, and Toprak Razgatlioglu (both Prima Pramac Racing) all retired. Fermín Aldeguer (Gresini Ducati), the 2025 Indonesian GP winner, crashed at Turn 16 on lap two.
