TPG Starts Flowing Into Accounts

Good news for honorary teachers across Indonesia. The Teacher Professional Allowance (TPG) for non-State Civil Apparatus (non-ASN) teachers has begun disbursing in stages this week.

The announcement was made by the Director General of Teachers and Education Personnel (Dirjen GTK) of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen), Nunuk Suryani, through a post on her personal Instagram account on Saturday (17/10/2026).

"Alhamdulillah, I received news that TPG for non-ASN teachers has started flowing this week," Nunuk said. She stated that some non-ASN teachers have already received the allowance, and the government targets completing disbursement to eligible recipients by next week at the latest.

Waiting on SP2D Issuance at KPPN

According to Nunuk, the disbursement paperwork is complete. The Payment Request Letter (SPP) and Payment Order Letter (SPM) have been processed by the ministry.

The next step is waiting for the issuance of the Disbursement Order Letter (SP2D) by the State Treasury Service Office (KPPN). Because payouts take turns awaiting their SP2D slots, disbursement is being carried out in stages.

Kemendikdasmen said it has coordinated with KPPN to accelerate the SP2D issuance so the funds reach teachers' accounts promptly.

Delayed for Months

TPG disbursement for non-ASN teachers had previously been delayed for up to 3-4 months, sparking anxiety among honorary teachers. On Monday (12/10/2026), the Indonesian Teachers Association (PB PGRI) urged the government to take concrete steps and not sacrifice teachers' rights.

Deputy Chair of House of Representatives Commission X Lalu Hadrian Irfani also demanded that teachers' rights be disbursed within a week at the latest, following a press conference on 14 October 2026.

TPG for non-inpassing non-ASN teachers is set at IDR 2 million per month. Teachers whose personnel data is not yet valid on the Info GTK portal are asked to fix it immediately so disbursement is not held up.
