Appointed via October 14 EGMS

PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk (FAST), the publicly listed operator of KFC restaurants in Indonesia, has officially appointed Achmad Baiquni as Director I for the 2026-2030 period. The decision was approved by shareholders through an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPSLB) held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

During the same meeting, shareholders also approved the resignation of Dalimin Juwono from the position now held by Baiquni. Dalimin previously oversaw FAST's finance division while concurrently serving as corporate secretary and director of PT Gelael Supermarket. The company received his resignation letter on August 27, 2026.

Former BNI CEO and BRI Finance Director

Achmad Baiquni is well known in Indonesia's corporate sector. The senior banker led PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) as President Director from March 2015 to February 2020, following his tenure as Finance Director of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) from May 2010 to March 2015.

His banking career began at BNI in 1984, holding strategic roles including Consumer Director, Corporate Director, and Director of Small, Medium, and Sharia Business. Prior to his appointment as Director I, Baiquni served as an Independent Commissioner at FAST and Chair of the Audit Committee since 2021.

Baiquni earned a degree in Economics majoring in Development Studies from Padjadjaran University in Bandung in 1982. He later received a degree in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management in Makati, Philippines, in 1992. This combination of banking experience and corporate governance serves as his foundation for leadership in the restaurant industry.

New Board of Directors Composition

Following the EGMS, the board of directors of FAST comprises Ricardo Gelael as President Director, Ferry Noviar Yosaputra as Vice President Director, Achmad Baiquni as Director I, and Cahyadi Wijaya, Fabian Gelael, Adhi Indrawan, Wachjudi Martono, Tony Subagio, and Dio May Avico as Directors II through VII.

FAST Corporate Secretary Yohannes Kristiarto Soeryo Legowo stated that Dalimin's resignation marks the conclusion of his career with Gelael Group spanning more than five decades. The transition brings a seasoned financial sector banker to the board of the fast-food enterprise.

The appointment of the senior banker marks a new chapter for FAST—the ticker-coded FAST issuer operating hundreds of KFC outlets across Indonesia—amid ongoing dynamics in the national fast-food industry.
