Elected by acclamation at the XI General Assembly

Japto Soelistyo Soerjosoemarno has been re-elected by acclamation as General Chairman of the National Leadership Council of Pemuda Pancasila (MPN PP). Japto's election took place at the XI Grand Assembly (Mubes) held simply in South Jakarta on Wednesday (14/10/2026). All provincial-level delegate participants attended the forum, which also served as a momentum for organizational consolidation after a period of inactivity, as Japto stated in his speech. After being re-elected, Japto acted as sole formateur and appointed 11 assistants to help draft the new Pemuda Pancasila leadership. He stressed that the leadership composition must be prepared objectively by taking into account the organization's needs, regional potential, communication skills, and capacity to resolve problems. The full leadership is scheduled to be announced at the organization's 67th anniversary (Harlah) on 28 October 2026.

Affirm support for the Prabowo administration

In his remarks, Japto emphasized the organization's commitment to supporting the government programs of President Prabowo Subianto. He said Pemuda Pancasila must take on the role of a government partner, including helping implement programs that address community needs and develop regional potential. Japto also highlighted the importance of developing regional potential based on natural characteristics, resources, and the capabilities of local communities. Development planning, he said, must be supported by in-depth surveys and research, not merely aerial monitoring.
