BOGOR — President Prabowo Subianto chaired a meeting of the Kabinet Merah Putih at Istana Kepresidenan Bogor, Jawa Barat, on Friday evening (16/10/2026). The meeting, scheduled to begin at 19.00 WIB, was attended by all ranks of the cabinet: ministers, deputy ministers, to heads of state agencies and institutions.

Maruarar: Grateful for Two Years, Working Harder
After attending the meeting, Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas Maruarar Sirait shared reflections ahead of the two-year mark of the Prabowo administration, which falls on October 20, 2026. Meanwhile, a state agenda at Istana Bogor impacted traffic flow in Kota Bogor. Traffic congestion was observed on several roads, stretching from the Sistem Satu Arah (SSA) Kebun Raya Bogor route to the Alun-Alun and Stasiun Bogor areas. Heavy traffic also occurred on Jalan Siliwangi, Jalan Otto Iskandardinata (Otista), Jalan Ir H Juanda, and Jalan Jenderal Sudirman.
Several residents reported being caught in traffic multiple times during a single trip. Zoel, one of the residents, said he was stuck in traffic four times at several points, including when Jalan Otista was closed due to a motorcade entering Istana Bogor.
