Riyan's Early Goal and Injury-Time Drama
Java United picked up their second straight Super League 2026/2027 win after silencing Bali United 3-2 in a dramatic duel at Jatidiri Stadium, Semarang, on Friday (10/16/2026). The hosts opened the scoring in the 14th minute through Riyan Ardiansyah's strike.
Bali United equalized after the break through Teppei Yachida. But Java United retook the lead in the 78th minute via Gustavo Almeida's goal. The hosts capitalized on their numerical advantage in the closing minutes when Ciro Alves weaved past two Bali United defenders before squaring for Kei Hirose to seal it at 90+4.
Bali United refused to give up. Jens Raven scored in the 90+5th minute to make it 3-2, but the remaining time was not enough for Serdadu Tridatu to equalize before the final whistle.
Kadek Arel's Red Card the Turning Point
The crucial moment came late in the second half when Bali United defender Kadek Arel was sent off for a foul on Gustavo Almeida. Playing with ten men at the most decisive phase left Bali United struggling to contain the hosts.
Java United's third goal arrived shortly after the numerical advantage, when Ciro Alves beat two Bali United defenders before delivering the perfect assist to Kei Hirose. The 90+4th-minute goal effectively settled the contest.
Second Straight Win
The victory was Java United's second in a row — the club formerly known as Malut United — lifting them to 12th in the Super League standings with 5 points from five matches.
In another match played almost simultaneously, Madura United had to settle for a 3-3 draw with Bhayangkara Lampung. Madura's goals came from Danilo Santacruz (two) and Balotelli, while Bhayangkara replied through Jefferson Brenes, Mathias Ocampo, and Sani Rizki.
