Doktif Files Report at Metro Jaya Police
JAKARTA — The feud in Indonesia's skincare world has entered a new chapter. Doctor Samira, popularly known as Doktif or the 'Doctor Detective', has officially filed a police report against Fitri Salhuteru over alleged defamation. The report was submitted to the Metro Jaya Regional Police headquarters (Polda Metro Jaya) on Wednesday (14/10/2026).
News of the report surfaced amid public attention on the long-running conflict involving several figures in the beauty industry. Fitri Salhuteru is known as an entrepreneur and influencer who has been vocal in the polemic involving Doktif and doctor Richard Lee.
For Doktif, the legal move is a response to Fitri Salhuteru's statements deemed harmful to her. Doktif had previously asked Fitri to stop spreading false information about her, including about her status as the party who reported Richard Lee.
Root of the Feud: Dispute Over the Richard Lee Report
The root of their conflict lies in the Richard Lee case. Fitri Salhuteru allegedly claimed that Doktif was not the party who truly reported Richard Lee over suspected consumer-protection violations. Doktif has firmly denied the claim. "One hundred percent. The report against DRL was filed by Doktif," she said at the Metro Jaya police headquarters, as quoted by Grid.ID.
According to Doktif, the report against Richard Lee was filed in her name through her legal counsel. She accused Fitri of spreading a false narrative to the public about the case.
On the other hand, Fitri Salhuteru was on record reporting Doktif's skincare products to the Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) in May 2026. The mutual reports have heated up their relationship and now culminated in Doktif's latest legal action.
Richard Lee Now Under City Arrest
Meanwhile, Richard Lee — who had been serving time in prison — has been released and is now under city arrest. Doktif commented on her rival's new legal status, expressing sympathy over Richard Lee's condition.
Richard Lee was named a suspect on 12 December 2025 under Article 27 paragraph (3) of the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE) over a defamation report, and was not detained because the maximum penalty is two years in prison.
The case Doktif brought against Richard Lee runs on a different track: alleged violations of the Consumer Protection Law and the Health Law, reported to the Metro Jaya Regional Police in December 2024. Both camps are still going through their respective legal processes, and the public awaits the next chapter of this long-running feud.
