Robo Waterfall Temporarily Closed

After the incident, the local government temporarily closed the tourist attractions of Waterfall Puncak Robo. The closure was the result of the coordination of camat, tourism service, police, Babinsa, and BPBD after direct evaluation in the field.

The head of Polsek Harau, AKP Yusmedi, said the conditions of the route to the location were considered quite worrying and did not meet the safety standards of visitors, with smooth fields, trails, as well as the minimum accompaniment of tourist guides. This tragedy was a reminder for tourists to always be alert, especially in the waterfall area when the discharge is heavy.

Tourists who visit the waterfalls do not shower too close to the heavy stream and always pay attention to the warning boards. The rock fields around the waterfalls are generally smooth, especially after rain, so extra caution is necessary for safety.
