Crisis is severe, people are willing to stay
The oil fuel crisis (BBM) in Bali is severe, Thursday (15/10/2026). After lasting about a week, the long driveway of vehicles is still visible on various SPBUs and makes citizens volunteer to stay in the location while waiting for the arrival of the tank trucks. This condition isly ongoing since Monday (12/10/2026) without signs of recovery. The breakdown not only hit BBMs subsidized like Pertalite and Solar, but also BBMs non-subsidized such as Pertamax and Pertamax Turbo that are empty in almost all SPBUs.
At a number of points, the ride lasts from dawn to night. The people who run out of fuel in the middle of the road have no choice but to stay on the ride, hoping the supply will return and they will not run out of the ride.

Antrean spread in Jembrana, Klungkung, to Denpasar
In Jembrana, hundreds of citizens remained in SPBU despite the administrator having installed an empty stock announcement. In SPBU Road Sudirman, Kelurahan Pendem, the two-wheeled and four-wheeled gear met the national road edge on Wednesday night (14/10/2026). A citizen claimed to have entered since Wednesday afternoon and until Thursday morning still had no gasoline, then chose to sleep on his vehicle because his motorcycle tank was empty. Putu Winarta, a resident of Kelurahan Pendem, said many drivers had no other choice than to wait because his vehicle could no longer walk.
As a result, the people began to enter from 4:00 p.m. at the SPBU Gunaksa. One citizen claimed to be asleep at the SPBU after the Pertalite ended around 8:00 p.m., while he had already arrived since 5:00 p.m. the SPBU Gunaksa officials said that two tons of Pertalite ended only in about two hours after the SPBU opened, and the antrean continued to lengthen to meluber to the shoulder of the road. In Denpasar, the citizens claimed to enter until early in the day around 2:00 p.m. at the WITA but still did not get a BBM because the stock was over.
People falling, health post dismantled
A number of viral videos on social media showed that the BBM drive in Bali reached about 5 kilometers at some SPBUs. In one of the shows, a female rider was seen fainting while entering in the midst of heavy weather. Health posts were also dispatched at several points of the drive. Lilik Ariyanto, one of the citizens who arrived at the drive at 03.00 Wita, claimed that his motorcycle’s gasoline remained one bar so he could not go anywhere else. This situation affects daily activities, including work and transporting children to school.
Citizens expect the shortage to be overcome immediately because it is a huge burden on society, especially those who hang vehicles to work.
First of all, apologize.
The Prime Minister of Regional Business Jatimbalus issued an apology and stated that he continued to try to restore BBM supply in Bali through delivery arrangements based on the SPBU priority scale as well as optimization of supply for 24 hours. Additional supplies were also sent via tanker vessels. The Prime Minister explained the distribution disruption was triggered by the technical impediment of the carrier vessel in the process of discharge of BBM cargo. ESDM Ministry said the disruption was mainly triggered by ship delays and distribution barriers, not because national stocks were exhausted.
