Two-year evaluation in the Palace courtyard

President Prabowo Subianto led a Plenary Cabinet Session at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Wednesday (21/10/2026) at around 15:00 WIB (Western Indonesia Time). The meeting was held a day after the administration of Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka reached the full two-year milestone since their inauguration on October 20, 2024, coinciding with the two-year anniversary of the Red and White Cabinet formed on October 21, 2024.

Unlike usual, this session was held in the central courtyard of the Presidential Palace, with tables and chairs for ministers and heads of state institutions arranged since Tuesday (20/10/2026). Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya opened the session by confirming full attendance across the Red and White Cabinet ranks, followed by screening a video showcasing the administration's two-year achievements titled 'The First Two Years of Tangible Work for the Nation'.

Prabowo: a cohesive team is better than brilliant individuals

After the achievement video was screened, President Prabowo delivered opening remarks expressing gratitude and appreciation to all ranks of the Red and White Cabinet for their performance over the past two years.

Prabowo assessed that the ministers and heads of agencies had worked optimally and produced achievements that he considered quite proud. He then underscored the importance of team solidarity for an organization's success. 'Rather than many brilliant and genius people who cannot work together, it is better to have ordinary people who can cooperate well. That is a lesson from thousands of years of human civilization,' he asserted. Prabowo referred to the ministers and institutional heads before him as the finest sons and daughters of the Indonesian nation.

Full attendance: ministers, agency heads, Wantimpres, BI Governor

Starting at around 13:30 WIB, ministers, deputy ministers, and heads of state agencies began arriving at the Palace. Among them were Chairman of Wantimpres (Presidential Advisory Council) Pratikno, Head of BPGMN (National Nutrition Task Force Body) Satyawan Pudyatmoko, Head of BMKG (Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency) Teuku Faisal Fathani, Head of OJK (Financial Services Authority) Friderica Widyasari Dewi, Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas, Minister of Trade Budi Santoso, Minister of Forestry Raja Juli Antoni, Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf, Deputy Minister of Transmigration Viva Yoga Mauladi, Deputy Chief of National Police (Wakapolri) Police Commissioner General Wahyu Hadiningrat, and Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Tandyo Budi Revita. The Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) and OJK leadership were also invited.

This plenary meeting also marked the maiden attendance of Wantimpres member Rocky Gerung following his inauguration on October 2, 2026. 'This also carries premier urgency because two years have passed, so an evaluation is necessary,' Rocky told reporters. Wantimpres Deputy Chairman Hatta Rajasa along with Wantimpres members Ignasius Jonan, Budi Gunawan, and Anwar Usman were also seen in attendance.

Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas noted that the session aimed to evaluate two years of governance while receiving presidential directives to enhance performance. He cited several achievements in the legal sphere, including deregulation to facilitate investment, bureaucratic reform, and the digitization of 470 public services integrated with the Directorate General of Taxes so that corporate NPWP (Taxpayer Identification Number) is issued automatically.
