Goal Feast in Gianyar

Bali United celebrated a goal feast in front of their home supporters. The Tridatu Warriors (Serdadu Tridatu) crushed Garudayaksa FC with a resounding 5-0 scoreline in week 6 of the 2026/2027 BRI Super League at Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, on Wednesday (21/10/2026) afternoon WIB (Western Indonesian Time).

This emphatic victory lifted Bali United to second place in the provisional standings with a tally of 12 points, sitting just two points adrift of the league leaders. Conversely, Garudayaksa FC sank deeper into 14th place, having collected only 5 points.

The home side's five goals were scored by Irfan Jaya, Remco Balk, a brace from Queven da Silva, and a penalty conversion by Teppei Yachida. Four of the five goals came in the second half after Bali United held a narrow 1-0 advantage at the interval.

First Half: Deadlock Broken in Stoppage Time

Bali United immediately seized the attacking initiative from the opening whistle. However, Garudayaksa's compact defensive line made life difficult for the hosts' frontline. In the 7th minute, a fierce strike from Thijmen Goppel struck the post, and Marko Dugandzic's follow-up attempt on the rebound also rattled the woodwork.

The deadlock was finally broken right in first-half stoppage time. Following a scramble inside the penalty box, Irfan Jaya pounced on the loose ball with a powerful drive in the 45+2 minute. That crucial strike handed Bali United a 1-0 lead at halftime while providing vital momentum to pile on the pressure in the second half.

Second Half: Four Unanswered Goals

Entering the second half, the Tridatu Warriors' aggressiveness proved unstoppable. Just six minutes in, Remco Balk extended the lead to 2-0 in the 51st minute through a shot that deflected off Hamra Hehanussa and flew into Garudayaksa's net.

Queven da Silva then wrote his name on the scoresheet in the 63rd minute with a neat finish that goalkeeper Dominik Holec could not keep out. The Brazilian player netted his second in the 75th minute courtesy of a hard shot that ricocheted off Paulo Ricardo before crossing the line, completing his brace.

The hosts' goal feast was sealed late in the contest. In the 89th minute, Teppei Yachida calmly converted a penalty to lock in the commanding 5-0 rout for Bali United.

Standings: Bali United Move Up to Second

The additional three points propelled Bali United into second place in the 2026/2027 BRI Super League standings with 12 points, just two points shy of the table-toppers. This outcome underscored the attacking potency of Johnny Jansen's side, who managed to strike four times in the second period.

On the other hand, the crushing defeat in Gianyar left Milos Joksic's Garudayaksa FC languishing in 14th position with a total of five points. The visitors' defense faces serious scrutiny after shipping five goals across ninety minutes.
